The month of July has kept me busy and throughout the past few weeks, I've been attending events and meet ups left and right, barely having the time to actually sit down and edit up my video documentaries of them. Well, it seems I finally got around to finishing them, so here are the highlights of what went down so far this month!
July 12 - The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Premiere!
July 12 was pretty much Hogwarts day. Along with my friends Mark, Vince, and Huey, we were invited to the advanced screening of the final film in the Harry Potter franchise - "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2", over at the IMAX theater at the SM Mall of Asia. To say that a huge fanbase gathered would be an understatement, as TONS and TONS of other invited guests and viewers lined up just to watch the movie. Cosplayers from Hogwarts Philippines were also in attendance, giving attendees a chance to get some photos with their favorite Potter characters. There was also a display case was set up in the middle of the IMAX lounge area showcasing actual props and posters from the movie, courtesy of Warner Bros. Philippines.
July 20 - Toy Photography Philippines Meet Up
The first group meeting for Toy Photography Philippines was held last July 20 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens. As a creative hobby of sorts, I joined my buddy Mark and a handful of like minded individuals as we gathered together with cameras and collections in tow, and we proceeded to make use of the elements, conjuring up different scenarios and poses we could use and shoot our subjects in. The video above gives a "Behind-The-Scenes" look at just how innovative and fun this hobby is for us. Hopefully, it'll inspire you all to do the same as well.
